Carnitas El Bajio

I threw a party for 20 people and they set it up. Perfect. I was gonna ask for a better place to pick up authentic Mexican food thank you again. I will always come back.

Delicious never disappoints! I first started going to their McHenry location back in the day when I was a house cleaner lol so when they added the Standiford location awhile back I was so excited because it's a lot closer to me so now I'm able to come a little more often and put friends on!

Hands down the Best Pulled Pork Sandwich in the County. Freshly cooked pork with a perfect blend of in-house made BBQ sauce w/ grilled onions on a heaven tasty bun. They also serve excellent Carnitas and various other meats. Don't forget to pick up some chicharron to go. There is Fast service with a smile from a bilingual staff. The seating is comfortable with specialty chairs and tables from Zacoalco de Torres Jalisco Mexico. This place is is a bit bigger than small and the bathrooms are reasonably maintained.

One of our favorite places to go! Then we go to the White Elephant Lounge! Food is delicious and very friendly workers there! The carnitas are always fresh!

Second visit, I'll be back for more. They were so accommodating and made me keto 'cheese shell taco's. So delicious I had to bring a friend.

I got a recommendation from a friend who lives locally and said that this place has amazing carnitas. Boy was he right! My group of 4 came for lunch & got the super taco platters. We were served plates that had 3 huge tacos filled with carnitas and topped with cheese, guacamole and more. Some of the best tacos I've ever had and the handmade tortillas were beyond amazing

I came in with family as they wanted to try this place. I was pleasantly surprised at how good it was! I'm always skeptical of Mexican food. I ordered their super tacos plate, which is something I would recommend. I ordered the carnitas, Al pastor and chorizo. Personally, the carnitas was the best tasting taco. The family ordered chicharrón and they really enjoyed it. Other family members ordered asada tacos. They said that they liked it, but it wasn't something they would get again as the carnitas was better tasting. A plate of BBQ ribs was ordered as well. They enjoyed the plate, however, they also ordered a super taco on the side. After that taco, they said that they would recommend the super tacos over the BBQ ribs. Even though the meat was super tender. The parking lot is small, and so is the inside. When we arrived, there wasn't many people eating in, however, there were several orders to go. It seems that most people go for their carnitas and the chicharrones. Would definitely be going back for more super tacos!
